Golden Milk is a natural Immunomodulator with the active ingredient being Curcuma, also known as Turmeric. It is a common spice used in the kitchen, but it carries many health benefits including immunity boosting.
This simple recipe of Golden milk can be very helpful in boosting our body's immunity and has been used in Indian households for many generations.
- Turmeric / Curcuma – ½ Teaspoon
- Milk – 150 ml
- Pinch of Cinnamon
- Pinch of black pepper
Method of Preparation
Bring to boil milk and add ½ teaspoon of Turmeric powder. One can add a small pinch of Black pepper powder and Cinnamon powder which will help to increase bioavailability of turmeric.
This is one of the best anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory immunity boosters.
This may be taken once or twice a day. To build immunity, take daily for a period of 6 weeks.
